Girls night out at the Ballet

For the last two years Addison has been bagging me to sign her up for Ballet lessons. She is 100% sure she will LOVE it and can't wait to get started. I have been very hesitant to sign her up given her past participation record. But, after she turned the corner during the Upward Basketball season I started thinking that this might be the right time to go ahead and seek out a dance studio where she could try her hand, or should I say toes, at ballet. I had heard about a wonderful studio right here in Silverton that a friends daughter takes lessons at. So when the opportunity came up to go see the end of the year performance I figured it would be a fun girls night out for the three of us (Kenny took a pass on this event) and my secret hope was that the performance would make Addison even more excited about signing up for ballet in the fall. Well, my plan only half worked, it was a very fun girls night out for Addison, Macy and myself but when Addison saw that she would have to be on stage and perform in front of so many people she was NOT interested in signing up for ballet EVER. We are still thinking about signing up because as she puts it "she would like to learn the moves but does NOT want to go on stage". Macy on the other hand would like to know when it will be her turn to go on stage and has no interest in the learning/practicing part. I do have two VERY different girls and I would not have it any other way! Here are a few pictures of our wonderful girls night out at the Ballet!
